In the space of 20 minutes, we saw amongst other things a heron, a pied wagtail, several common terns, Greylag and Canada Geese with young and a female mallard with ducklings.

The Centre for Local History is based in the Carnarvon Room, on Chestnut Grove in the centre of Burton Joyce, Nottinghamshire, UK. 

The Society has a monthly meeting with a speaker, on the second Tuesday evening of the month, and an open morning, usually the following Saturday, when a wide range of resources relating to the two villages are available to view.
