This black swan was with a group of mute swans on the River Trent. We saw it as we were walking from Fiskerton to Hazleford Ferry on afternoon in February 2009. See the Mute Swan page for more details.
While bathing, it showed this wonderful view of the underside of its wings.
About twenty minutes was spent on bathing and preening.
